I was introduced to Joseph 3 years ago when I was 78. In my early life I had been extremely active but on retirement, other than walking the dogs, I was doing no other exercise. I was suffering from severe sciatica and was unable to bend without severe pain. I had tried a variety of remedies, physiotherapy, osteopaths and chiropractors but none of these could solve my problem. Joseph initially carried out a full assessment and designed a course of simple exercises for me targeting my lower back mobility and freeing up my sciatic nerve. After a couple of weeks, I was able to tie up my shoelaces and my overall fitnes shas progressed significantly. 


I still have wekly visits from Joseph and he continues to design interesting and enjoyable exercise programs improving mobility, strength and balance. He is extremely knowledgeable about anatomy and can quickly and flexibly amend programmes to target pains or stiffness in all areas of the body. I am now considerably fitter than I was when I started. 


Joseph is very personable and a pleasure to have in the house. I would recommend him to anyone of any age who wishes to improve or maintain their fitness levels.

When I first started training, I was feeling very stiff and unhappy in my body. There was tightness across my lower back, and the strength in my arms and legs had deteriorated.

Since working with Joseph, my body feels stronger, my posture has improved enormously, and I now have the confidence to lift, carry, and get up from the floor—all the movements that help us get through the day with ease.


Joseph is really fun to train with and extremely patient. He always arrives fully prepared with a personalised programme, which changes regularly to maintain both progress and motivation. I started a 12 week training programme with Joseph back in October 2020 during the eights of COVID, having also come back from a holiday earier in the year. The combinatio of a holiday and COVID meant I was sitting at a heavier weight than usual, requiring support to help lose body fat during an uncertain and difficult global crisis. 


The goal for me was to reach the 190/195lb mark having creeped up to 210lbs. I wanted to have a leaner physique whilst feeling generally fitter. This goal was put to the test as this ran through a difficult period in time when gyms were closed, meaning we had to rely on home gym equipment; albeit, what I had was limited.


In the immediate term, I was able to lose 15lbs and look leaner - therefore, achieving my goal thanks to Joseph's coaching. However, the training was more than just the 15lbs I lost throughout the programme; it was 3 months of education in nutrition, dieting and fitness. It was equally years of added value being able to apply that education in the following years. 


The experience with Joseph has been exceptional and tailored exactly to my needs. I am supported in a way that works best for me with weekly check-ins and feedback on how I'm performing via the TrueCoach app and video recordings. Joseph is very responsive so if you need support or extra/proximate coaching, Joseph will endeavour to support.


I would highly recommend Joseph to anyone looking to achieve their goals. He goes above and beyond, offering not just support but years of valuable knowledge and resources that will  benefit you for a lifetime. 


What I particularly like about Joseph's approach is his ability to tailor his approach to suit you - whether you need close guidance or prefer more space and autonomy, he strikes the prefect balance while still keeping you accountable throughout the process. 


I am now working with Joseph for a second time, building on the progress I made previously and taking things to the next level.
